RAKIM JARRETT ’20

Signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a college free agent on May 12, 2023, Rakim Jarrett appeared in 28 games across three seasons while at the University Maryland (2020–2022), tallying 119 receptions for 1,552 yards, 10 touchdowns, and eight carries for 25 yards. He earned honorable mention All-Big 12 for all three seasons. He stands 11th in program history in career receptions, 12th in career touchdowns, and 13th in career yards, and he tallied at least one reception in 25-straight games. As a junior, Jarrett appeared in 11 games with seven starts, recording 40 receptions for 471 yards and three touchdowns. As a sophomore, he started all 13 games, and led team in receptions, yards, and touchdowns. His 62 receptions are tied with Stefon Diggs for the seventh-most in single season program history. As a freshman, he started all four games he appeared in, tallying 17 receptions for 252 yards and two touchdowns. Jarrett is ranked fifth among all freshman wide receivers in the FBS in receptions per game. While at St. John’s, Jarrett earned the 2019 DC Gatorade Player of the Year and Washington Post All-Met Offensive Player of the Year after recording 60 receptions for 950 yards, seven touchdowns as a senior, and 763 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior.
